Homemade Apricot Jam Recipe
2 Pounds washed, pitted and sliced Apricots
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
7 Cups Sugar
1 Package Pectin

Basic Mix (Bisquick)
8 1/2 c. flour
1 Tbs. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbs. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 c. instant milk
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
Mix all the dry ingredients well. Add the oil and mix well until consistency or meal. To use add water, form and cook at about 400′. Use for biscuits, pizza crust or add sugar and eggs for pancakes.

No Bake Cookies
2 c. sugar
1/8 C. cocoa
1/2 C. milk
1/4 C. butter
Cook over medium heat until boils. Remove from heat and cool for 1 minute. Add:
1 tsp. vanilla
a pinch of salt
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 C. Oats
Spoon onto wax paper and let set up.

Hot Chocolate Mix
11 cups powdered milk
4 cups creamer
1 cup powdered sugar
4 cups instant chocolate drink mix (i.e. Nestle’s Quick)
1 pkg. Mini marshmallows (optional)
Mix all ingredients together throughly. Makes about 1 gallon of mix. To use add 1/3 c. ix to 1 cup hot water. Stir until dissolved.
