A person showing foresight to provide carefully for the future.
That’s what we are, a family putting one foot in front of the other in order to get back to basics. It is our goal to live providently, buying only what we need and using everything that we buy. We try to grow what we can, make what we can and have a whole lot of fun in the process of doing it.
Last year at this time we were making official changes to our life. We went from being a dual income family with a lot of debt that spent waaaaaaay to much money on frivolous and wasteful items with no time and our kids being raised in daycare to a one income family with only a mortgage and vehicle loans, a stay at home parent to raise our two perfect sons and spending only what we had to on items that we really needed.
Can you believe it that we have more money in the bank even though we have only half of the salary and zero credit cards. Funny how those things work huh.
We did it using the principles and ideas that I will share with you here at Living Provident. I hope you get a lot of useful information here that can bring you and your family back to the basics just as they have us.
